Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park Celebrates Jason Rush: 20 Years of Dedication and 50 Cars for 50 Years

At Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park, we know that a dealership is only as strong as the people who make up its team. Over the years, we have been fortunate to have sales professionals who build lasting relationships with customers, support their coworkers and make a real difference in the dealership community.

Jason Rush is one of those people.

After approximately 20 years at Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park, Jason has become one of the most accomplished members of our sales team. He has consistently ranked among the top five sales professionals across the Ken

Ganley organization throughout his career and has finished as the organization's No. 1 salesperson for the past four years.

This year, he added another accomplishment to that impressive career: 50 vehicles sold during his 50th birthday month.

And while that milestone deserves plenty of recognition, there is much more to Jason's story than a sales number.

From Construction to Chevrolet Sales

Jason's career did not begin in automotive sales. Before joining the dealership world, he spent approximately six years working in construction.

A friend and former colleague, Dan Zagrek, eventually encouraged Jason to give automotive sales another opportunity. Jason had briefly worked at another dealership and was ready to move on from the industry, but that recommendation brought him to Ken Ganley Chevrolet.

Two decades later, he is still here.

What began as a career change turned into a long-term career defined by customer relationships, hard work and a commitment to doing things his own way.

Jason Rush: A Different Kind of Sales Professional

Ask Jason about his approach to selling cars, and he is quick to explain that he doesn't really think of himself as a traditional car salesman.

His focus is on solving problems.

Jason believes the best way to help someone find the right vehicle is to listen first. Rather than immediately trying to steer a customer toward a particular vehicle, he takes the time to understand what the person actually needs.

That philosophy has become a major part of his success at Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park.

Jason often describes his work as helping “put dreams in driveways.” For him, the rewarding part of the job is knowing that he helped someone find a vehicle that makes their life easier, meets their needs or represents something they have worked toward.

That customer-first mindset has also helped him build something that can't be measured by a single month's sales numbers: relationships that continue long after the paperwork is signed.

Customers Who Come Back to Jason

One of the clearest signs of Jason's success is the number of customers who return to work with him again.

Repeat business and referrals have played a major role throughout his career, and Jason puts a lot of effort into staying connected with customers even when they aren't actively shopping for a vehicle.

He is also known for spending time around our service department, talking with customers about their vehicles and simply making himself available. A conversation during a service visit may eventually lead to a future vehicle purchase, but Jason's goal is not to turn every interaction into a sale.

It's about being there.

That consistency has helped turn customers into repeat customers, referrals and, in some cases, lifelong friends.

50 Cars for His 50th Birthday

Then came August.

On August 1, Jason decided to give himself a rather ambitious birthday challenge: sell 50 vehicles during the month he turned 50.

It wasn't a goal he had been planning for months. He simply decided at the beginning of the month that he wanted to see if he could do it—and then went to work.

By the time he reached the later part of August, Jason had already sold approximately 35 vehicles. But getting from 35 to 50 proved to be the difficult part.

Back-to-school season brought its usual challenges, and the final stretch of the month tested Jason's determination. By the last day, he was exhausted and had reached the point where he considered calling it a night.

Instead, he stayed.

With the dealership's regular closing time already behind him, Jason continued working with customers and ultimately sold his 50th vehicle at approximately 8:30 p.m.

He had done it.

50 vehicles. 50 years. One unforgettable birthday challenge.

More Than a Sales Number

At Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park, we are proud of Jason's 50-car accomplishment, but what makes the milestone especially meaningful is everything that came before it.

For approximately two decades, Jason has shown up, worked hard and continued to challenge himself. His consistency has helped him remain among the top five sales professionals in the Ken Ganley organization throughout his career, while his performance over the past four years has placed him at the top.

His success isn't based on a complicated formula.

Jason listens.

He treats people with respect.

He follows through.

And he works to find solutions.

Those principles have served him well with customers and have helped him establish the kind of reputation that leads people to send their friends and family his way.

Family Is at the Center of It All

Behind all of Jason's accomplishments is something even more important to him: family.

Family is one of Jason's biggest motivations, and much of what he has worked toward throughout his life has been about creating a strong foundation for the people closest to him.

His path to success hasn't always been easy. Growing up in Cleveland and being raised by a hardworking single mother helped shape his determination and work ethic. Those experiences continue to influence the way he approaches his career and his life today.

For Jason, success isn't simply about being recognized as a top salesperson. It's about working hard, taking care of the people around him and being able to provide for and stay close to the people who matter most.

What Jason Does When He's Not Selling Cars

Although much of Jason's time is spent at Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park, he has plenty of interests outside the dealership.

He enjoys traveling, customizing vehicles and collecting shoes.

And when we say collecting shoes, we mean collecting shoes. Jason has approximately 300 pairs in a dedicated room at home. His interest in footwear is even noticeable at the dealership, where his shoes are often coordinated with what he's wearing.

His passion for cars also extends beyond his career. Jason enjoys customizing vehicles and putting his own personal touch on them.

Between selling cars, working with customers and keeping up with everything outside of work, Jason estimates that he can walk 20,000 to 25,000 steps in a day at the dealership.

That might explain some of his energy.

We're Proud to Have Jason on Our Team

Twenty years is a long time to build a career at one dealership, and Jason Rush has made those years count.

From his early days in construction to becoming one of the top sales professionals in the Ken Ganley organization, Jason has built his career around hard work, relationships and a genuine desire to help people.

His 50-car birthday achievement is an incredible addition to that story, but it is only one chapter.

At Ken Ganley Chevrolet Brook Park, we're proud to have Jason as part of our team and proud of the reputation he has built with our customers over the years.

Congratulations, Jason, on 50 cars for 50 years—and here's to many more years of putting dreams in driveways.

2026 Chevrolet Tahoe Surround Vision Recorder

The 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe is designed to make driving, parking, and maneuvering a large SUV easier with an advanced camera system. But did you know that, when equipped, your Tahoe can also use those cameras to record and save video while you drive? Chevrolet's Surround Vision Recorder gives Tahoe drivers another useful way to take advantage of the vehicle's camera technology. Instead of adding a separate dashcam to your windshield, the system can record footage from the vehicle's Surround Vision cameras and save it to a USB drive. For drivers in Brook Park and throughout Northeast Ohio, this technology can be useful for everyday driving, documenting an unexpected incident, or simply having a record of your travels. What Is Surround Vision Recorder on the 2026 Chevy Tahoe? Surround Vision Recorder is a feature that allows an equipped 2026 Chevy Tahoe to record, view, and save video captured by its Surround Vision camera system. Once a compatible USB drive is connected, the system can record while the vehicle is running. The footage is stored on the USB drive, and you can later use the center display to review recorded trips. The system is different from simply using the Tahoe's cameras for parking assistance. Instead of only displaying a live image around the vehicle, Surround Vision Recorder allows supported camera footage to be saved for later viewing. Chevrolet says the system is designed to record in two-hour loops, with individual trips saved as separate videos. That means your Tahoe can provide many of the practical benefits drivers look for in a traditional dashcam without requiring you to install a separate camera on the windshield. How Does the Tahoe's Camera Recording System Work? When Surround Vision Recorder is enabled and a USB drive is connected, the Tahoe records footage from its available Surround Vision cameras while the vehicle is on. The system organizes the recordings so you can review them later through the Recordings app on the center display. When the vehicle is parked, you can browse through your recorded trips, play back footage, and select different available camera views. You can also export footage to the USB drive for viewing on a computer. The exact camera views available can depend on the vehicle's equipment. Chevrolet's Tahoe technology includes multiple available camera views designed to provide greater visibility around the SUV. Can the 2026 Tahoe Record Video While It's Parked? Surround Vision Recorder can include a feature called Security Recording. When enabled, the system can automatically begin recording if an event triggers the vehicle's alarm. According to Chevrolet, Security Recording can capture 30 seconds of footage from all available cameras, including the interior camera, when the alarm is triggered. The footage is labeled as a "Security" recording in the Recordings app and can be exported to the USB drive. This could be particularly helpful if your Tahoe is parked at home, at a shopping center, at a hotel, or in another public location and the vehicle's alarm is activated. Security Recording availability can vary by vehicle, so check your Tahoe's equipment and Owner's Manual for details. What Do You Need to Use Surround Vision Recorder? Getting started doesn't require installing a separate camera system. You'll need: An equipped 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe Surround Vision Recorder enabled on the vehicle A compatible, user-supplied USB drive The appropriate USB data port in the vehicle Chevrolet specifically notes that the USB drive is not included with the vehicle. The Owner's Manual provides information about the appropriate USB port and requirements for the drive. Because the system saves video files, choosing a USB drive that is appropriate for continuous video recording can be important. How to View Your Tahoe's Recorded Videos Once you have recorded footage, you can review it directly from the Tahoe's center display. With the vehicle in PARK: Connect your USB drive to the appropriate data port. Turn the vehicle on. Open the Recordings icon on the center display. Browse your available recorded trips. Select a recording to play it back. Choose from available camera views when applicable. Export footage to the USB drive if you want to save or share it elsewhere. Chevrolet's system also includes an option to safely eject the USB drive from the Recordings app. When transferring footage to a computer, Chevrolet recommends safely ejecting the USB drive from the vehicle before removing it. Why Would You Want a Built-In Tahoe Dashcam? A dashcam can provide useful documentation when something unexpected happens on the road. The Surround Vision Recorder offers a similar benefit while taking advantage of camera hardware already incorporated into the Tahoe. For example, recorded footage could potentially help you review what happened during: A traffic incident A parking-lot collision An unexpected road event A close maneuver in a crowded area An incident involving another vehicle It can also be useful simply for reviewing a memorable road trip or drive. Of course, recorded video should be used responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws. Chevrolet specifically advises owners to use Surround Vision Recorder in accordance with local video-recording laws. Does Surround Vision Recorder Record Audio? Chevrolet states that the Recordings app does not record audio or conversations. The system is designed to capture video footage from the vehicle's available cameras. Chevrolet also states that GM does not collect the video or data from Surround Vision Recorder and Security Recording USB recordings; the recorded video is accessed through the USB drive. The Tahoe's Camera Technology Goes Beyond Recording The Surround Vision Recorder is only one part of the Tahoe's camera technology. Depending on how a Tahoe is equipped, Chevrolet offers multiple camera views designed to help drivers see areas around the vehicle. The available camera system can provide views useful for parking, maneuvering, and towing. Chevrolet says Tahoe can offer up to eight available cameras and up to 14 camera views, depending on equipment. That makes the Tahoe's camera technology useful whether you're pulling into a tight parking space in Brook Park, maneuvering around a crowded lot, or preparing to tow. Is Surround Vision Recorder the Same as a Traditional Dashcam? Not exactly. A traditional dashcam is generally a dedicated camera installed specifically to record the road. Surround Vision Recorder instead uses the vehicle's existing Surround Vision camera system to capture available camera views. The biggest difference is that the Tahoe's system is integrated into the vehicle rather than requiring an additional windshield-mounted device. The available views and recording capabilities depend on the Tahoe's equipment and configuration, so it's a good idea to ask about the specific vehicle you're considering. Frequently Asked Questions About the 2026 Chevy Tahoe Surround Vision Recorder What is Surround Vision Recorder on the 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe? Surround Vision Recorder is a Chevrolet feature that allows an equipped Tahoe to record, save, and review video captured by its available Surround Vision cameras. A USB drive is required to save the recordings. Does the 2026 Chevy Tahoe have a built-in dashcam? An equipped Tahoe can use Surround Vision Recorder to record video from its available Surround Vision cameras. It provides functionality similar to a dashcam while using the vehicle's integrated camera system. Does the Tahoe Surround Vision Recorder require a USB drive? Yes. Chevrolet states that you need to provide your own USB drive to use Surround Vision Recorder. Check the Owner's Manual for the appropriate USB port and USB drive requirements for your vehicle. How long can the Tahoe record? Surround Vision Recorder is designed to record in two-hour loops while the vehicle is on. Recorded trips can then be viewed through the Recordings app. Can the Tahoe record while parked? On some equipped vehicles, Security Recording can automatically capture footage when an event triggers the vehicle's alarm. Chevrolet says these recordings are 30 seconds long and use all available cameras, including the interior camera when equipped. Does the Tahoe's camera recorder capture sound? No. Chevrolet says Surround Vision Recorder does not record audio or conversations. Can I watch Tahoe recordings on my computer? Yes. Recorded video can be exported to the USB drive and then transferred to a computer for viewing or sharing. Chevrolet recommends safely ejecting the USB drive before removing it from the vehicle. Does every Tahoe have the same camera views? No. Available camera views can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment and configuration. Chevrolet notes that Tahoe offers multiple available cameras and up to 14 camera views depending on equipment.
